Surfing
The Chief Surf Instructor and one of the owners of OM, Paul Tuohy, brings a wealth of experience to the surfing programmes, having surfed in many worldwide places such as Australia, Indonesia, Spain, France, Portugal etc. during the last 25years. Paul who has been teaching surfing for the past 10 years has also received awards from the R.N.L.I. and is currently the Educational & Visiting Officer for the Station. He is a s enior helmsman with the Tramore R.N.L.I., training others to save lives…..
Environmental and Ecology
Heading our Environmental and Ecology team is Grace O’Sullivan who has spent the last 20 years working in the environmental field with NGO’s, Greenpeace, Oceania and Enfo etc.. Her work has taken her from the Arctic to the Antarctic and for the last five years she has conducted walks for OM while studying field ecology
in UCC. Her life experience, her work and her knowledge add greatly to the Beach Tours, Walks and Hikes
Administration
Linda Tuohy is the company administrator and your first point of contact. She has worked in Sales, Marketing and HR within the hospitality sector over the past 20yrs. She combines this experience with her knowledge of her colleagues credentials in OM to develop the content of the programmes that make up the corporate packages and group itineraries that OM deliver. Her co-ordinating, networking and marketing abilities have been the driving force behind OM’s development within the Educational Tour Sector. Now branching into the Corporate Sector, OM’s strength lies in the “Unique Experience” of the Corporate programmes and group itineraries on offer to Clients.
Sales & Corporate Events
Ann McGrath heads our Sales and Events Management team and has worked with OM seasonally for the last 8yrs. She has added to her events management skills through organising team challenges and corporate programmes for groups coming to the Red Cottage to experience Surfing, Guided Walks, Street Orienteering, Sand Sculpting etc. When not in Ireland she resides in New Zealand where her work involves co-ordinating corporate groups for events
in the “Snowdome” i.e. Team Challenges, Ski & Snowboard Competitions & Events
