Who We Are
The school is family owned and run by a husband and wife team, both Paul and Linda Tuohy and their years spent within voluntary organisations such as the Tramore R.N.L.I. Lifeboat and Tramore Sea and Cliff rescue units have instilled a safety first motto which is reflected throughout the surf school's activities.
What We Do
Their involvement in surfing in Ireland and abroad has spanned nearly 30yrs (now going 2nd generation). Many years of Surfing knowledge and qualifications have been acquired over this period which they have incorporated into their teaching methods and, which they impart to people who either want to learn to Surf or who enjoy the outdoors and want to have some fun. With its team of highly trained Staff the school provides a high level of professionalism which makes your surfing experience safe, fun and informative.
Our Experience
With over 35 years of Tourism experience behind them, Paul and Linda through Oceanic Manoeuvres offer, besides the individual lessons, Surf Camps and Hire Packs, numerous Fun and Educational programmes which have been specifically designed with individual or groups in mind. Since Oceanic Manoeuvre's fruition as a Surf School in 1998, Environmental Awareness programmes and Team Challenges have been developed to compliment the Surf School identity and are now major group activities within the school.
On being asked why a Surf School, They answer "having spent all our adult lives to date surfing and travelling, we chose a lifestyle where as a family we could continue to do what we like doing best surfing, meeting people, teaching people about the Ocean and it's Environments, all in our own home town of Tramore.
